Root of Alate Pteracanthus is the root of Pteracanthus alatus (Nees) Bremek., a plant in the family Acanthaceae. It grows by water or in shaded, damp places. This medicinal material is a commonly used folk herbal medicine in Guizhou, with the effects of activating Blood circulation and relieving pain. It is recorded in Guizhou Herbal Medicine and other herbal works.

Usage & Dosage
