For lung abscess (empirical formula) Take 30-60g of fresh root of Luoshuanghong (Ilex serrata), decoct in water and drink. For burns and scalds (empirical formula) Take the fresh root bark of Luoshuanghong, crush and extract the juice, and apply to the affected area. For ulcerated sores (empirical formula) Take 30-60g of fresh root of Luoshuanghong, decoct in water and drink; additionally, take fresh leaves, crush, and apply externally.
