Aliases：Xǐ Huā Cǎo (literally "Joyful Flower Grass"), Ài Chūn Huā (literally "Loves Spring Flower"), Lán Huā Zǎi (literally "Blue Flower Child"), Duì Jié Cài (literally "Opposite-Jointed Vegetable"), and Niú Qī (literally "Ox Seven"). (These are all alternative names for Kě Ài Huā, i.e., the root and leaf of Eranthemum pulchellum / Veined Eranthemum.)
Kě Ài Huā (Cute Flower) is a traditional Chinese medicinal material. It is the root and leaf of Eranthemum pulchellum Andrews, a plant belonging to the family Acanthaceae. It grows on slopes, under forests, or in thickets at altitudes of 190–800 meters.
