Thelephora vialis Schw.
Aliases：Lián Huā Jūn (literally "Lotus Flower Fungus") and Huī Sè Gān Bā Jūn (literally "Gray Dried-Meat Fungus"). (These are alternative names for Lián Zuò Gé Jūn, i.e., the fruiting body of Thelephora vialis.)
Lián Zuò Gé Jūn (Rosette Leather Fungus) is a traditional Chinese medicinal material. It is the fruiting body of the fungus Thelephora vialis Schw., belonging to the family Thelephoraceae. It grows on the ground in broad‑leaved or coniferous forests.

Indications
Used for rheumatic arthralgia (rheumatic joint pain) and spasms and contractures of sinews and muscles (muscle and tendon spasms and cramping).
Usage & Dosage
Decoct in water, 3–6 g; or soak in wine for oral use.
Selected Formulas
For rheumatic joint pain (empirical formula) Take 12g of Huzhang (Polygonum cuspidatum), 9g of Qiancao (Rubia cordifolia), and 6g of Weilingxian (Clematis chinensis). Soak in 500ml of white liquor for one week, then take orally.
